A Dublin Declaration was also agreed following an expert roundtable on the contribution of youth work to youth employment hosted by Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Frances Fitzgerald, in June. This Declaration recognises the unique potential of youth work in supporting attainment of ‘soft’ skills which are increasingly sought after by employers.
