Start fellowship Petya Alexandrova - Main contents

As of January 2015, the Montesquieu Institute welcomes Petya Alexandrova as a fellow. She is a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Institute of Political Science, Leibniz University Hannover.

Petya works on EU policy agendas and institutional interaction. In September 2014, she defended her PhD at the University of Leiden, Campus The Hague on Agenda Setting in the European Council.

During her PhD Petya was associated with the Montesquieu Institute, where she contributed to various activities, such as writing analyses for the website or the organisation of the MI Masterclass. Before coming to the Netherlands, Petya earned a BA degree in International Politics and History form Jacobs University Bremen (DE) and a MA degree in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Bath (UK), Charles University Prague (CZ) and Humboldt University Berlin (DE). She has been teaching public policy, EU policies and research methodology and will hold courses in comparative policy agendas in the coming semester.

Petya is the codebook coordination for the EU Policy Agendas Project, an international research collaboration focused on agenda setting and the EU.
