The last AGRIFISH video-conference under the Croatian Presidency - Main contents
The Croatian presidency informed ministers about the progress achieved on legislative acts in relation to the reform of the common agricultural policy (CAP). The work on these files has been summarised in a progress report, in which the presidency also identifies areas where it considers that further work is needed.
"The progress achieved on the CAP reform is considerable. That is even more true given the extremely difficult circumstances under which the Croatian presidency and member states had to work to ensure that no precious time is wasted. Further to that, we were able to quickly react to the COVID-19 related challenges and to adopt measures to ensure food availability across the EU and to provide support to farmers, fishers and aquaculture producers worst-hit by the crisis."
