In setting the G20 summit agenda, China, hosting the G20 Summit for the first time, advocates the importance of innovation & technology to drive the new industrial revolution, and the digital economy for which China's Premier Li Keqiang called for ‘Mass entrepreneurship and innovation'.
To share various interpretations of the outcomes of the summit and explore the potential opportunities that may lead to the European companies and Chinese counterparts, Groningen Confucius Institute Amsterdam, in the collaboration with Business School, University of Amsterdam would cordially invite you to the seminar.
About the keynote speakers
Ying Zhang
Ying Zhang, Associate Dean for China Business and a Professor on Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. She was a visiting professor at Harvard University and recognized as the featured business school professor at NativeSociety and an Elite Professional Woman. Her work have been used by mainstream media all over the world. She promotes the relevance of academic research, and a reverse contribution from practice into the academic.
Arnoud Boot
Arnoud Boot, professor of Corporate Finance and Financial Markets at the University of Amsterdam and co-director of the Amsterdam Center for Law & Economics (ACLE). He also directs the Amsterdam Center for Corporate Finance (ACCF), a think tank that seeks to stimulate the dialogue between academics and practitioners. He is chairman and member of various public bodies and committees that help shape policy and holds a number of non-executive directorships.
About the panelists
Jin Weihuang
Jin Weihuang, the Deputy General Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Europe) S.A. Amsterdam branch. From October 2003, Mr. Jin was promoted to Deputy General Manager of International Banking Department of Guangdong Branch. From March 2010, Mr. Jin worked as the Deputy Head of ICBC Amsterdam Branch Preparatory Group, and from January 2011 to present, he served as the Deputy General Manager of ICBC Amsterdam Branch. He is a member of DOCDEX (Documentary Credit Dispute Resolution Expertise) of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Paris as well as the Trade Finance Expert Team of ICC CHINA.
Mustafa Tanriverdi
Mustafa Tanriverdi, a member of Dutch trade and investment board (DTIB), the public-private partnership in the field of international business and bilateral economic relations. He is the international marketing director in City of Haarlemmermeer, responsible for the international marketing and strategy. He is also the director of foreign investment in Amsterdam in Business which is a co-operation between the foreign investment agencies of the cities of Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Almere and Haarlemmermeer.
Tsvi Vinigz
Tsvi Vinig, University of Amsterdam Business School, is also visiting professor at Jilin University, China and in Ben-Gurion University in Israel. He studies contemporary entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in China and its impact on changing China's economy. The second edition of his book 犹太创业家:揭秘犹太创业者的8大成功因素 is just published, and his forthcoming book on Contemporary Entrepreneurs in China is scheduled for publishing publish during 2H 2017. He is frequently invited keynote speaker in academic and industry conferences in China.
Charlie Yechuan Hu
Charlie Yechuan Hu, the CEO & co-founder of Triple 3D, the Sino-Europe industrial design, 3D design product development crowdscourcing service platform. He is a natural maker with many experiences in 3D printing and design for manufacturing. He graduated from Nyenrode Business Universteit, worked in the Amsterdam startup accelerator Rockstart and joined all kinds of startup conferences and accelerator program such as Google Launchpad, Start Summit and Pioneer festival as the startup founder.
