Rights of LGBTI persons in Azerbaijan should remain a priority for the EU - Hoofdinhoud

Sophie in 't Veld wrote a letter to High Representative/Commission Vice-President Mogherini about the situation of the LGBTI community in Azerbaijan, together with MEP Marietje Schaake. This letter follows our earlier questions on the matter that were not answered satisfactorily.
The situation is still a source of grave concern and the EU should not cease to raise this issue with the Azerbaijani authorities, including in the context of the negotiations on a future agreement.
