Letter to Commission on Implications ECJ Safe Harbor Ruling - Hoofdinhoud

On behalf of the ALDE Group, Sophie in 't Veld has sent a letter to the Commission on the implications of the ruling of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) in the Schrems v Facebook case, which declared the Safe Harbor Programme invalid.
The ALDE group urges the Commission to take immediate action in order to ensure that clear rules are put in place as a legal base for the transfer of personal data to the US, providing for real and meaningful protection of personal data.
