Je suis aujourd'hui, demain et samedi à Washington pour les réunions de printemps du FMI et de la Banque mondiale et pour les rencontres du G7 et G20 ministériel. Je prendrai part aux échanges variés - institutionnels, bilatéraux et publics - sur les perspectives de l'économie mondiale et sur la reprise en Europe, portant les priorités de la Commission européenne vers plus de croissance, d'investissement et d'emploi.

Jeudi 16 avril :

8h45 : Table ronde publique au German Marshall Fund of the United States "Reprise en Europe : la marche à suivre".

10h : Conférence organisée par la Banque mondiale et la Banque européenne d'investissement sur le financement climatique.

13h45 : Rencontre avec M. Haruhiko Kuroda, Gouverneur de la Banque centrale du Japon.

15h : Rencontre avec M. Jeffrey Zients, Assistant du Président pour la politique économique et directeur du Conseil économique national, Maison Blanche.

17h : Rencontre des ministres des Finances du G7 et des Gouverneurs de banques centrales.

18h30 : G20 Session 1 : Economie mondiale et cadre pour une croissance forte, durabel et équilibrée.

20h30 : Diner de travail du G20 ministériel.

Vendredi 17 avril :

8h30 : Session de travail conjointe G20/FMI sur la réforme du FMI.

I am in Washington today, tomorrow and Saturday for the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank, and for the G7 and G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meetings. I will take part in various exchanges - institutional, bilateral, and public - on the outlook for the global economy and the recovery in Europe, expressing the priorities of the European Commission towards a new boost for growth, investment and jobs.
