He said: "In the wake of this unprecedented natural disaster, which took away so many thousands of innocent lives, we stand tall in sympathy and solidarity with the Philippine nation. He continued: "We witness the great efforts of the President Aquino and his cabinet to offer emergency relief to those most affected and to bring back the situation under normalcy. We will do everything in our power to address any requests from the Philippine authorities for international aid and assistance".
