Mairead McGuinness (1959) is Commissioner on behalf of Ireland in the Commission-Von der Leyen since October 12th 2020. She is responsible for financial stability, financial services and the capital markets union. McGuinnees served as member of the European Parliament from 2004-2020 as a member of the christian democrats.
