ANNEX I
| A. | The work of the Centre shall be carried out with due regard to the respective powers of the Community and its Member States in the area of drugs, as those powers are defined by the Treaty. It shall cover the various facets of the drugs and drug addiction phenomenon, and the solutions applied. In doing so, the Centre shall be guided by the Drugs Strategies and Action Plans adopted by the European Union. The Centre shall focus on the following priority areas:

| B. | The Commission shall make available to the Centre, for dissemination, the information and statistical data which it possesses pursuant to its powers. |
