(1) In accordance with Council Decision No [XX]10, the Protocol amending the Agreement between European Union and Japan for an Economic Partnership regarding free flows of data was signed on [XX XXX 2023], subject to its conclusion at a later date.

(2) The Protocol amending the Agreement should be approved on behalf of the Union.
