Contents

Article 1

The Cooperation Agreement on the European Satellite Navigation Programmes between the European Union and its Member States and Switzerland is hereby approved on behalf of the Union.

The text of the Agreement is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council shall designate the person empowered to proceed, on behalf of the European Union, to the deposit of the instrument of approval of the Agreement, in order to express the consent of the European Union to be bound by the Agreement.

Article 3

The position to be taken by the Union in the Joint Committee and the groups referred to in Article 20(4) of the Agreement shall be adopted by the Council, on a proposal from the Commission.

Article 4

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption. It shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
