Article 1

The Protocol to the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Union of the Comoros, initialled on 21 May 2010, is approved on behalf of the Union.

The text of the Protocol is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council, on behalf of the Union, is hereby authorised to designate the persons empowered to give the notification provided for in Article 14 of the Protocol, in order to bind the European Union.

Article 3

This Decision shall take effect on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
